The combination of great food, golfing, networking and education was perfect for Arizona members

Rental operators had a chance to swing into fun at the ARA of Arizona’s night at Topgolf in the Phoenix metro area Sept. 21.

Besides enjoying a delicious barbecue buffet, taking aim at giant outfield golf targets and long drives, attendees had the opportunity to network with their rental peers and learn about American Rental Association (ARA) resources that will directly benefit their businesses from ARA’s James Auerbach, vice president for the event segment and rental industry workforce development.

Katey Naylor, CEM, event director, Bright Event Rentals, Phoenix, who serves as the ARA of Arizona secretary, attended with four of her team members.

“It was a great time to connect, meet new faces, swing some clubs and learn how membership in ARA is a benefit to myself as well as our organization as a whole,” she says.

Naylor enjoyed talking with Auerbach and Valerie Herdman [American Rental Association (ARA) vice president, people and culture] to learn about all the benefits of ARA membership. “There are so many resources, from the Job Portal and RentalU with all of the training and certifications to the vendor locator and all of the networking opportunities. We also are excited about the Young Professionals and Women in Rental conferences that will be held this November in Scottsdale.”

Whether a golfer or not, all who attended had fun and learned about some new facets of their rental association. Special thanks also go to event sponsors ARA Insurance and ARA Insurance Preferred Agent Michael Bell, owner, Robert Bell Insurance Brokers.
