New ARA of Georgia president named and board set

Brian Corrigan of Macon Tent Rentals, Macon, Ga., has been named the new president of the ARA of Georgia. He succeeds Steven Eisenstein, CERP, president, Classic Tents & Events, Norcross, Ga.

Corrigan, who describes his role as the “chief event guy” at Macon Tent Rentals, oversees planning and operations for the company while his business partner, Jeff Holloway, serves as the “chief tent guy” in charge of sales and execution. Corrigan joined the ARA of Georgia board in 2016 and has served as the chapter’s vice president since 2020.

As he steps into the role of president, Corrigan says he is “thankful for the opportunity to serve our members in both party and construction/general tool rentals. We have a fantastic board comprised of members who care deeply about growing each of our own businesses while providing meaningful content, training, networking and fellowship with our fellow members across the state. Each season and business cycle brings about its own challenges and though it’s tempting to bury my head and focus only on my own situation, we grow best and strongest as we grow together, sharpening and challenging one another.”

Corrigan says that during his tenure as president, the mission of the ARA of Georgia’s board will remain as focused as ever. “Our goal has been and will continue to be to provide the educational environments and networking events that challenge, improve, encourage and strengthen us as individual members who are able to take tangible tools and experiences back to our own organizations and go to work. I personally aim to continue this as we engage more and more young professionals and support leadership opportunities within our board and at our gathering events throughout the year,” he says.

As he takes the baton of leadership in his American Rental Association (ARA) state chapter, Corrigan also marks the occasion by thanking his peers who make volunteerism worthwhile and encouraging others to absorb the benefits of involvement.

“I am so thankful for those before me who didn’t sit on the sideline, but gave of their time by showing up, sharing their stories and pouring into others,” he says. “This group includes members of the board and general members of the ARA of Georgia who faithfully show up and make the most of each event. Sometimes the willingness just to share a business lesson, maybe even one in which we learned the hard way, has a fundamental impact on someone else who may be staring down the same struggle or challenge. Join me this year by showing up and sharing your story with another member. Let’s raise all boats as we move ahead in 2022.”

Be sure to thank all the rental professionals who are serving in leadership roles for the state chapter:

  • Treasurer: Gary Bonds, business development, Talisman Rentals, Canton
